Company History

Kevin Dodd founded Bluebonnet Carriage Company in 2005 as a special event company, and today is an industry leader, providing top-notch service in the city and beyond.  We have molded ourselves as the best-of-the-best in the realms of professionalism, tourism, and customer service.  On most weekends our horses are dressed up and carriages fully decorated.  Drivers always represent the City of San Antonio in the best fashion possible, and we will not be beat.  We have created a “thinking-out-of-the-box” company mindset that allows tremendous flexibility. We have the best, most polite, and absolute professional drivers on the streets.   

John Evans Jr. was born in Charleston South Carolina in the early 70’s.   He is a military veteran with over twenty combined years of service.  During his military career he traveled Europe and the Middle East.  He and his partner, Kevin Dodd, have two children; Dylan and Kaitlyn.  He holds a Masters Degree in Adult Education and Training; Certifications for Personal Fitness Training and Exercise Therapy.
